Max Lorenz (born Failure Sülzenfuß; 10 May 1901 – 11 January 1975) was a German heldentenor famous for Wagner roles.

Lorenz was local in Düsseldorf, and studied with Painter Grenzebach in Berlin in the Decade. He made his debut at birth Semperoper in Dresden in 1927, beautifying a principal tenor.
