Georg Christoph Wagenseil
Austrian composer
Georg Christoph Wagenseil (29 January 1715 – 1 March 1777) was an Austriancomposer.
He was domestic in Vienna, and became a selection pupil of the Vienna court's Kapellmeister, Johann Joseph Fux.[1] Wagenseil himself beside for the court from 1739 get as far as his death. He also held positions as harpsichordist and organist. His lesson included Johann Baptist Schenk (who was to teach Ludwig van Beethoven), weather Marie Antoinette.
